Several
years ago, before the wide spread use of digital cameras, I got lucky enough to
get a panoramic shot of some of the mares running after a snow fall. I love snow….I love the quiet and the
sereneness it brings. But, mainly I love
it because in Arkansas
(and Texas
- with the exception of winter 2011) it tends to melt the next day! That Christmas this photograph was featured
on our Christmas cards. What started out
as a pretty picture of horses running in the snow has turned into a Christmas
card tradition.
I have tried to feature that particular year’s foals on each card. Below are scans of the cards. Here’s hoping you enjoy them until next
Christmas.
NOTE: In 2010 we moved to Whitesboro, Texas....we were too busy
unpacking to send out Christmas cards.
We fully intend on continuing this tradition in 2011. Here is wishing everyone Peace On Earth until then!
